The IDF struck Rumman, a village in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah-run Al-Manar TV claimed on Wednesday.

The military has not corroborated the reports at the time of writing.

Earlier Wednesday morning, sirens were activated in some areas of northern Israel as the IDF launched interceptors towards what it suspected at the time to be a drone that crossed from Lebanon into Israel.

Later, the military announced that the interceptors had likely been launched towards a "false target."

No casualties were reported, and the military added that it is currently examining the results of the interception.

This is a developing story.
